Recycled Water Trucking Program

Sonoma Water operates a Recycled Water Trucking Program (Program) at the Sonoma Valley County Sanitation District (SVCSD) wastewater treatment plant.

The goal of the Program is to reduce the use of potable water in construction-related activities by providing an alternative source of non-potable water. Approved trucks can pick up tertiary-treated, disinfected recycled water for use at construction sites in the following activities: dust control, cement mixing, soil compaction, etc.

In order to obtain access to the recycled water station, customer tanks must be equipped with a pipeline assembly meeting the necessary air-gap requirements to prevent backflow. The air-gap between the tank and pipeline must be equivalent to or greater than twice the diameter of the pipeline, and never less than 1 inch of separation (see image).

SVCSD Recycled Water Filling Station is located at:

22675 8th St. East, Sonoma, CA 95476
