Sonoma County Water Agency Water-Use Efficiency Intern

Job Description: The Water-Use Efficiency Interns support our Water Smart Home Program and will be performing indoor and outdoor water use surveys for retail water customers. The Water Use-Efficiency Intern will learn to identify water conserving fixtures, determine if a customer has a leak, learn how to complete a landscape audit and make recommendations for improving water use efficiency. Incumbents will have a training period and will then be responsible for scheduling their own appointments, performing audits and completing computer data entry of the findings.

Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled in a full time or part time academic or vocational curriculum at an accredited college or university.

Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.

Internship Compensation per hour (approx. 20-30 hours per week): 

Undergraduate Level $21.75

Graduate Level $23.62
